I have even run a monitor showing the game has a memory leak that continuously expands until it exhausts all usable memory, then uses all swap file memory (past 18GB) until it finally crashes.

they had some update a few weeks ago that seemed to at least minimize the crashing but here it is update day again and it is worse than ever. After Parks update (and Parks DLC installed), crash after crash. I've tried going to their support but they keep blaming the computer, old game saves, remnant assets, etc, yet I could play for hours on end no problem before the Parks update with 4 or 5 mods and maybe 100 or so custom assets. Honestly, ever since this update today, I originally thought it was mods or assets, but even with everything removed and back to vanilla game, it still crashes on me. it hangs for a second and then the process is terminated and I'm back at my desktop) with no error messages being displayed, though in the past a generic error message saying to contact support appeared. Most of the time the game just crashes (i.e. Is there any way I can determine which of my mods is causing the game to crash? I remember reading a list on Steam of mods that were OK after the aforementioned update and all my mods are on the OK list.

I am now playing full vanilla, but things like network extensions, traffic manager, precision engineering and city vitals watch are really vital for a fun gameplay, for me at least. After losing unsaved progress various times due to this frustrating issue I have disabled most of my mods, and the game worked fine for over a month, but then one day I tried saving my city and it started crashing on save again. I have contacted Paradox support with the log files concerning the crash, who have been very helpful in the past, but this time they refused to help as long as I had mods enabled.
